Singapore’s licensed Zero-GST Warehouse Scheme (ZGS) enables companies to store imported non-dutiable goods for an indefinite period of time in our designated warehouse storage space. GST is suspended during the storage period; this allows companies to have a more flexible handle over business spending and overheads.
No. Only non-dutiable goods may be stored in licensed zero-GST warehouses in Singapore. Dutiable goods such as liquor, tobacco products, motor vehicles, as well as petroleum products and biodiesel blends are excluded from the zero-GST warehouse scheme. GST and other applicable customs duties are suspended during the period when your non-dutiable imports are stored in our licensed zero-GST warehouse storage spaces in Singapore. GST is only payable when the goods are removed for local use and/or consumption. It is not payable if the goods are removed for export, or when their sale/supply is undertaken while they are in storage.
